Britains Got Talent judge Amanda Holden today reveals in the Daily Mail how she has had Botox injections for the last two years in her attempt to halt the signs of premature ageing.  Posing in heat magazine the actress was brave
Amanda Holden poses for a magazine wearing no make-up and insists enough to do the photo shoot without any make-up.  However, she admitted that she has had a little help in maintaining her smooth complexion with Botox injections.
She explained to ‘heat’ magazine how the lines around her eyes seemed to get a lot worse form all the squinting while filming for long periods for the drama series ‘Wild At Heart’ in the bright South African sunshine.
Following her initial treatment in South Africa she has continued the treatment in the UK to make sure that she looks flawless in front of the cameras.  She went on to explain that when the time is right she will go onto having dermal filler treatments for any lines or folds that she feels will inevitably develop around her mouth.  For the full story

Dysport® launches in the US

Botox+alternative+set+for+launch+in+US Health regulators in the United States have given the the green light to a new product that
manufacturers claim could shake-up the non-invasive cosmetic treatment market.

With growing numbers of women and men turning to treatments such as Botox in a bid
to combat the physical signs of ageing, it has been revealed that new wrinkle reduction
product Dysport could be released to the public within the next few days.

Manufacturer Ipsen has teamed up with Medicis, which already owns popular non-invasive brands such as Restylane and Perlane, to promote the new treatment, with
research carried out by the companies finding that it gives the same end-results as Botox but in a quicker time.

Dr Jeffrey Adelglass, a leading cosmetic physician, added: "The major benefits of Dysport to the cosmetic patient will be that there are fewer injections, and treatments hopefully will last a little longer."
News of the impending launch comes soon after the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) warned people against using treatments such as Botoxwithout seeking professional advice first.

Now, the Daily Mail has reported that Antonia Blake is now able to enjoy a relatively normal lifestyle ten years after the incident which left her confined to bed in pain for 12 hours a day. The 36-year-old explained that, by giving her Botox jabs alongside traditional physiotherapy; her new team of doctors were able to reduce the pain significantly.

"Her treatment included the use of steroid injections to damp down the pain and Botox
injections which gave  the effect of localised paralysis," said Dr Kathryn Davies from the
Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital.

"Now she bounces into the clinic looking healthy and happy. She made herself better,
but with a bit of help from us."  At the end of last month, Dr Sid Gautam of DermaSkin.co.uk advised that Botox injections could stave off depression by giving people a self-confidence boost.
